Spin the wheel for a random would you rather question, then everyone picks a side and explains why. Classic, funny, deep and kid-friendly sets are one click away, and you can write your own.
How to play would you rather
- Spin the wheel. The question that lands appears in large type — every entry is the second half of “Would you rather…”.
- Everyone picks one side and explains why in a sentence or two.
- Spin again, or let the person with the best answer spin next.
Prefer no waiting? Press Instant pick for a few questions at once, for example five for a quick round at dinner.
Question sets for every crowd
- Classic — 36 all-round questions about superpowers, food, travel and everyday life;
- For kids — pet dinosaurs, bouncy castles and dragons to school;
- Funny — spaghetti hair, glitter sneezes and an angry goose;
- Food — pizza or burgers forever, pancakes or waffles;
- Deep — time or money, the truth or happiness, for longer talks;
- Superpowers — teleport or fly, stop time or rewind it.
Each chip swaps the wheel in one click, and Undo in the notification brings the previous list back.
Ways to play
- Classroom: a two-minute warm-up — students move to one side of the room for each answer.
- Team meeting: a gentle icebreaker before the agenda; the Deep set works for smaller groups.
- Road trips and dinner: no props needed, just a phone.
- Debate rounds: each side gets one minute to convince the others to switch.
- Points: whoever answers in the minority gets a point — the rarest opinion wins.
Write your own questions
Type your own dilemmas into Entries, one per line, starting after “Would you rather” — inside jokes for friends, topics from a lesson, questions about your team’s work. Turn on “Remove winner after spin” in Settings so no question comes up twice, and Share sends your list to everyone as a link. For a party game with dares instead of dilemmas, try the truth or dare wheel.
- How do you play would you rather?
- Someone asks a question with two options, and everyone has to choose one — no “neither” and no “both”. The fun is in explaining why. Spin the wheel to pick the next question.
- Are there would you rather questions for kids?
- Yes. The For kids set has questions about pet dinosaurs, flying brooms and slides in the bedroom, and the Funny set works for children too.
- How do I avoid repeating questions?
- Turn on “Remove winner after spin” in Settings. Each question leaves the wheel after it is asked, and the Results tab keeps the ones you already played.
- Can I add my own would you rather questions?
- Type them in Entries, one per line, without the words “Would you rather”. Your list stays in this browser, and Share turns it into a link for friends.
