TickWheel

Random Number Generator

Click to spin · Ctrl + ↵ · DragTap or flick to spin

Type a range and press Generate for instant random numbers, or fill the wheel and spin it so everyone can watch. This random number generator handles single picks, sets without repeats and quick 1–100 draws.

Two ways to pick a number

Generate is the fast way. Type the lowest number in From and the highest in to, choose How many numbers you want and press Generate. The numbers appear under the form, and Copy puts them on your clipboard as a comma-separated list.

Spin is the fun way, and it turns the page into a random number generator wheel. Press Fill wheel and every number in the range lands on the wheel — up to 1000 of them. Click the hub, press Ctrl + Enter or flick the wheel, and the needle stops on a number. In Fullscreen the whole room sees the draw happen.

Ready-made ranges

The quick sets above the list swap the wheel in one click:

  • 1–10 for guessing games and “pick a number” challenges;
  • 1–100 for classroom draws and giveaways;
  • Dice 1–6 when the dice have gone missing;
  • D20 for tabletop role-playing games;
  • Lotto 1–49 for lottery-style picks.

Each switch can be undone from the notification, so a list you built by hand is never lost.

Numbers without repeats

Lotteries, raffles and seat assignments need every number to be different. With No repeats ticked, Generate never returns the same number twice in one batch: ask for 6 numbers between 1 and 49 and you get six different ones. If you ask for more numbers than the range holds, you get each number once, in random order.

On the wheel, “Remove winner after spin” in Settings does the same job: every number drawn leaves the wheel, and the Results tab keeps them in order.

Fair by design

Every result comes from your browser’s cryptographic random generator. On the wheel the number is chosen before the animation starts and the needle is steered to land on it, so a harder flick never changes the odds. Want one number to come up more often? Switch Entries to Advanced and raise its weight — its sector grows to match.

FAQ

Questions

How do I get a random number between 1 and 100?
Leave From at 1 and to at 100 and press Generate for an instant number. Or spin the wheel: it already holds every number from 1 to 100.
Can I generate several numbers without repeats?
Yes. Set How many to the amount you need and keep No repeats ticked. Every number in the result is different, which is what lotteries and raffles need.
How random are the numbers?
They come from your browser's cryptographic random generator, the same source used for security keys. Every whole number in the range has the same chance.
What is the largest range?
Generate works with whole numbers from minus one billion to one billion. The wheel holds up to 1000 numbers, so Fill wheel works for ranges up to that size.
